Founded in 2020 by the dynamic sibling duo Nabil and Reem Khaled, BKR’s is all about baking up delicious creations from their innovative cloud kitchen in Egypt. Initially launched as a B2B venture, BKR’s quickly made a name for themselves with artisanal treats like sourdough bread, ciabatta, and baguettes—baked goods that were hard to find at the time.
Starting with a focus on sourdough and croissants, BKR’s expanded its menu by 2022 to include an array of delectable desserts. What sets them apart? A steadfast commitment to quality! Reem and Nabil use top-notch ingredients, including rich New Zealand and French butter, to elevate every bite.
In 2024, BKR’s took a big leap, partnering with prestigious hotel brands like Intercontinental, Hyatt, and Westin, while also reaching out to consumers through third-party delivery apps. Whether you have specific cravings or unique requests, BKR’s are ready to whip up something special just for you!
From a small team of four during the pandemic, BKR’s has blossomed into a talented group of around 20 professionals, many with experience in five-star hotels. Nabil, who switched from the pharmaceutical world, brings his expertise in formulations to refine their recipes, while both siblings’ passion for food fuels endless kitchen experiments.
